Overview of the role:

The store manager oversees all aspects of the store's operations with a focus on sales growth and profitability. The role involves ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining merchandising standards, and fostering a skilled and motivated team. Success in this position requires strategic planning and execution to meet financial targets and enhance the overall customer experience.

What you will do:

• Recruit, hire, develop, and retain high-quality management and associates for the store.
• Lead by example and provide training, development, and ongoing feedback on product knowledge and selling skills.
• Conduct weekly staff meetings and daily briefings to recap performance and communicate new goals and procedures.

• Prioritize excellent customer service by executing the customer experience through regular assessment and coaching.
• Maintain visibility on the selling floor to answer questions and support selling functions.
• Implement visual merchandising standards, directives, and promotions, ensuring cleanliness and organization.

• Meet or exceed profitability expectations for sales, payroll, shrink, and conversion.
• Create and execute strategies to maximize sales while controlling expenses.

• Control company assets by meeting loss prevention measures including inventory management.
• Execute and comply with all company policies and store procedures.

What qualifies you for the role:

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience as an assistant store manager with a proven track record in driving sales and profit.
• Proficiency in business English and report analysis skills.
• Good computer skills with experience in Outlook, Excel, and SAP.
