Job description / Role
Reports to: Retail operation manager / Retail Manager
Supervises: ASM, Supervisor, VM coordinator, Inventory coordinator and sales staff
Liaises with: Internally – Retail department
Sales & Customer Focus:
- Consider the needs of customers at all times
- Implements a high standard of customer focus within the store
- Regularly assesses customer service standards within store
- Leads by example in all aspects of customer service
- Actively seeks ways to achieve or exceed shop sales targets
- Ensures all members of team have an understanding of figures and targets to be achieved
- Ensures any promotional offers, regarding stock, are implemented within own store
- Ensures store maintenance budgets are used effectively to maintain smooth running of the store
Stock Presentation & Management:
- Liaises with Retail Team to ensure store has the correct stock package and required stock levels to maximize sales potential
- Ensures a high standards of visual merchandising and maintenance amongst all staff
- Effectively communicates any changes in stock or store layout to all members of the team and responsible to update the management.
- Ensure that each member follow the retail standard
- Maintaining the back store operation (if any) and replenishment of the merchandise
Staffing & Performance Management:
- Monitors/ Manages schedules for salesperson work hours and days off;
- Resolves salesperson complaint and concerns and provides ongoing performance feedback, Counsels salesperson when necessary;
- Encourage full participation of salesperson in creating store goals and developing plans
- Ensures store portrays the company image in all aspects of personal presentation and adheres to the company dress code as laid out by the Company
Competition Management:
- Is aware of the key competitors for the store & monitors competition on all aspects on a regular basis.
- Suggests proactive measures to the retail outlet manager to counter competition threats.
Store Administration, Maintenance & Security:
- Regularly audits own store administration and resolve any issues
- Implements, within own store, any changes in administration procedure positively and effectively
- Ensures that the store maintenance is taken care of fully & aids in doing preventive maintenance of the store.
- Ensures security procedures are adhered to throughout the store e.g. Staff bag checks
- Maintains a high standard of security awareness, regarding stock and money, within store
- Completes all reporting requirements of the Retail operations on time.
Deliverables:
- Ensures budget for own store is managed and that expenditure stays in - Agreed budgets
- Daily or weekly meeting to be held in the respective stores to understand the sales performance (past-present-future), ensure that to deliver the message to all the staff.
- Ensures store administration is completed according to company procedures on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Analyses available data in order to make decisions concerning stock to maximize sales potential
- Leads, motivates and develops the team to maximize talent and performance and achieve business objectives
- Ensures store security, concerning stock and money
Requirements
- Immediate Availability
- Basic Graduation preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in similar role
- UAE Driving License required
