Storekeeper

Job description / Role

• To maintain and control material receiving, storage and issuance.
• The receipt, storage & issue of materials including the identification / markings.
• Checking deliveries against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Update and maintain stock register on daily basis.
• Ensure material is stored as per manufacturer’s recommendations/ customer requirements.
• Intimate Procurement Engineer when to re-order consumables/ fast moving items, when shelf life of stored products is expiring.
• Liaising with QA/QC department/ Design Engineers for receiving inspections.
• Segregation and identification of non-conforming items received.
• Ensure the machines and equipment are calibrated and inspected regularly.
• Maintaining the stores as clean, organized and smooth-running operation.

Salary:
AED 2,000 to 3,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• 4+ years’ experience with industrial LV and control panels wiring and assembly.
• Any degree or similar structured training program.
• Reading and writing proficiency in English is must.
• Capable to work in MS office - Word and Excel.
