Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time


- Report directly to the Strategy Manager in MBC Studios and will be based in Dubai. The analyst is expected to work with cross-functional teams such as the Research team, Creative teams, Production team, Finance team and Legal team to drive the strategy for MBC Studios. The strategy team in Studios is mainly focus on the slate (production) strategy
- Execute on workplans, support and partner with cross functional teams to deliver key analyses and projects, including market analysis, competitive analysis, financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting, scenario planning, etc.
- Support the Strategy Manager in close partnership with our data and research team to develop frameworks, tools and strategies required to monitor and advise on Content Investment based on both internal and competitive insights
- Generate point of views and analyze industry trends by conducting research, interviews and fact-based quantitative analysis
- Prepare presentations and reports for Senior Management
- Perform certain analyses independently, as needed


Skills Requirements:

- Strong analytical skills, including data analysis and problem solving
- Strong written and oral communication skills (including concise presentations), solid people skills to work with various cross-functional teams and build collaborative relationships are strong plus
- Advanced aptitude in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Awareness of key business trends in the media industry overall, awareness of content development and consumptions is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- High degree of professionalism and integrity
- High energy and results oriented
- Arabic professionally (oral and written skills) is required
- Minimal travel may be required.


- University/Bachelor's degree in a related subject - e.g. Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, etc.
- Advanced degree preferred, not required.


- 1-2 years of experience in a professional services firm with strategy consulting experience preferred. Media industry exposure is preferred.
- Exposure to a wide range of data and analytical concepts and methodologies, including:
- Market sizing
- Competitive analysis
- Customer needs analysis / primary research
- Financial modeling
- Forecasting
