Our newest opportunity is for a talented Structural BIM Technician to join our award-winning team based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include:

- Able to work independently and develop structural drawings and 3D Structural REVIT models in all design stages based on basic sketch input / mark-ups from a Structural Engineer.
- Support Project Engineer on a day-to-day coordination with other disciplines.
- Responsible for the correctness and accuracy of own work and the work allocated and done under his/ her supervision on a particular project.
- Understand and implement document control procedures for drawings.
- Able to plan drafting team workload efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Capable of creating BIM families and do clash detection using Navisworks.
- Expert in the use of the latest editions of AutoCAD and REVIT Structures software.
- Must be able to understand / interpret structural engineering sketches, have a strong understanding of various types of building structures.
- Attention to detail - be able to check and correct drawings prepared by other team members.
- Must fully understand and interpret Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing drawings. Be able to create detailed design drawings with the required supporting details.

Requirements

Qualifications:

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a minimum of 5 years of work experience, partnered with Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- CAD Certificate and BIM certified professional structure is a must.
- Working knowledge in Revit Structures, AutoCad, Navisworks, BIM 360 and Microsoft Office products.
