Job description / Role
International Engineering Consultancy requires Structural Engineer to be based in either Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Producing preliminary and detailed designs in conjunction with client, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Liaising directly with clients and assist the clients in achieving their aspirations.
• Working as part of a project team.
• Review and check designs and drawings.
• Produce design deliverables to high level of quality ensuring that all design work meets with the relevant technical and quality standards.
• Coordinate designs with both internal design teams, other design contractors / vendors.
• Assist in the production of commercial bids and tender documentation
Requirements
• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Have a minimum 5 years consultancy based design experience
• Have a minimum of 2 years experience working for a consultancy in the UAE
• Have experience of relevant engineering software packages such as Etabs & Safe
• Experience of site visits, checking site conditions/resolving problems with contractors.
