Job description / Role
Job Purpose:
To ensure structural integrity of data center facilities, including floor loading, seismic resilience, and modular construction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design raised floors, equipment foundations, and seismic bracing.
• Evaluate live load capacity (?12.5 kPa for high-density racks).
• Ensure compliance with IBC, ASCE 7, and local seismic codes.
• Review modular/prefabricated data center structures.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 7+ years in data center/industrial structural design.
• Proficiency in STAAD Pro, ETABS, AutoCAD.
• Certifications: SE (Structural Engineer) License preferred.
