Structural Design Engineer (PEB Buildings)

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented structural design engineer

To join our team, specializing in pre-engineered buildings (PEB). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the design, analysis, and optimization of steel structures, with specific experience in the design of PEB systems for industrial, commercial, and residential buildings. As a structural design engineer, you will be responsible for developing cost-effective, safe, and high-performance structural designs, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and meet industry standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Responsibilities:

• Structural design and analysis: Design and analyze structural elements of pre-engineered buildings (PEBs) including steel frames, roof trusses, columns, beams, and foundation systems. Conduct structural calculations for load distribution, wind loads, seismic activity, and other environmental conditions. Ensure the designs meet local and international building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications.
• Design optimization and cost efficiency: Focus on designing cost-effective and efficient structural systems while ensuring the safety, durability, and sustainability of the PEBs. Provide innovative solutions to reduce material and labor costs while maintaining high-quality standards. Optimize the design for ease of fabrication and assembly at the construction site.

Key Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering (or related field).
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in structural design, with a focus on pre-engineered buildings (PEBs) or steel structures.
• Experience in using design and analysis software such as STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structures, SAP2000, or equivalent.
