Structural Design Engineer (Scaffoldding)

Job description / Role

We are seeking a talented Structural Design Engineer with expertise in scaffolding to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing scaffolding structures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards, and providing technical support to project teams.

Responsibilities:
• Design and analyze scaffolding structures for various construction projects, ensuring structural integrity and safety.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, codes, and standards related to scaffolding design and construction.
• Conduct structural calculations, simulations, and analyses to optimize scaffolding designs and identify potential risks.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and documentation for scaffolding systems
• Participate in site visits and inspections to assess the implementation and performance of scaffolding structures.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, and STAAD.Pro.
• In-depth knowledge of scaffolding design principles, industry standards, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex structural challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Salary:
AED 5,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
