Job description / Role
• Perform structural calculations for aluminum and steel structures and foundations
• Prepare comprehensive and concise engineering reports that meet project specifications
• Prepare of conceptual design with preliminary BOQ for steel and aluminum structures and foundations during tendering
• Draft the sketch to the software such as system designs and drawings (system, shop, fabrication and installation)
• Supervise the team of draftsmen during the phases of detail design, workshop and erection documentation
• Conduct structural and load calculations
• Conduct site visits, client meetings and prepare project correspondences
• Coordinate with sales department and clients
Requirements
This position exists for the design and analysis for a variety of aluminum and steel foundation and structures to meet client requirements.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with Master’s in Structural Engineering
• Have at least worked in Estimation for at least 5 years in structural design and analysis within the aluminum/steel industry
• Experienced in using software in designing steel, aluminum structures and foundations such as SAP2000 and Prokon
• Can visualize the required technicalities of the detail of the work
• User of MS Office Applications
• Knowledge of structural engineering design and drafting
• Good communication English-verbal and written
• Detail oriented, team player and analytical
