Structural Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in our Saudi Arabia Branch. In this role, where there will be a 3-month training in Sharjah, UAE, you will play a critical part in designing and analyzing structural systems for innovative facade projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and analyze structural designs for facade systems using appropriate engineering software and methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and construction teams to optimize facade structures for functionality and aesthetics.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure structural integrity and adherence to design specifications.
- Prepare detailed engineering calculations, reports, and drawings to support project proposals and construction phases.
- Ensure all designs meet local codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving engineering challenges during project execution.
- Participate in project planning meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably within facade design and construction.
- Proficient in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or STAAD.Pro.
- Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and international structural design standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional Engineering license or relevant certifications are a plus.

Salary:
AED 6,000 to 7,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
