Structural Fabricator

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled Structural Fabricator to join our dynamic engineering team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the construction and assembly of metal structures used in various oil and gas projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in all fabrication processes.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures and components according to job specifications and safety standards.
- Perform welding and other fabrication techniques to join metal parts securely and accurately.
- Inspect and test completed structures to ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to provide input on design and feasibility of projects.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace and tools, following best practices for safety and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fabrication and installation processes in a timely manner.

- Proven experience as a Structural Fabricator in the engineering or oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong welding skills, with certifications in MIG, TIG, or Arc welding preferred.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes and techniques with a focus on quality and safety.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time and priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in the oil and gas industry.
