Structural Technician

Job description / Role

My client a leading mixed disciplinary has an urgent requirement for a Structural Technician for its Dubai practice.

The role will involve:
- Producing highly detailed 3D structural models and drawings in all major structural materials including, but not limited to, concrete and steelwork.
- Detailing of steel rebar and steel connections at shop drawing level.
- Complete works to a high standard as outlined in project briefs and within the agreed timeframe
- Must include the required level of information, presentation and documentation control.

Requirements

Suitable candidates should apply who fulfill the following criteria.

- A suitable qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering is preferred, other relevant qualifications may be considered.
- Minimum 2 years' experience. UAE experience preferred but not essential.
- Must be fully conversant with the latest versions of Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD to produce structural models and drawing documentation to the highest of standards.
