Employment: Full Time

Our client is currently looking for a Student Engagement Manager to be based in Sharjah.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the development, planning, budgeting, negotiation, execution and delivery of collaborative action programmes in connection with student and university engagement.
• Support in delivering the student engagement aspect of the organisation's programmes by building the organisation's networks within the private sector and Academia.
• Manage the Student Advisory board, including the annual meeting and maintaining quarterly engagement and appointment of new members as required.
• Reach out to, engage and persuade business leaders, universities and students to engage with the organization and actively participate in the organisation’s programmes.
• Develop required materials such as concept papers, agreements, programme workplans, marketing resources, and internal and external progress updates.
• Review student case study submissions and design and develop student case study reports based on the submissions.
• Design, plan and measure baseline, progress update, programme performance, impact assessment and KPIs for student and university engagement.
• Responsible for achieving relevant programme deliverables based on KPIS and deliverables for engagement with universities and students based KPIs.
• Work closely with the events team to develop the content, design, speaker preparation and session outcome reports for all events engaging students and universities including student lectures, workshops and awards ceremonies.
• Create and maintain a database of academia networks and communities within the Gulf Region for the organisation; ensuring that the database is continually expanded and updated.
• Work closely with Programme Managers and act as the main point of contact for all the programme's university engagement activities.
• Measure impact and develop future strategic plans for all student and university engagement initiatives.
• Work with the Business Services Manager to improve and expand the organisation's internship programme, both internally and within organisation’s partnership network.
• Encourage business schools throughout the Gulf Region to promote accountability, transparency and integrity within their curriculum.
• Engage with university professors as knowledge partners to support the organisation including content creation for blog posts, press pieces, events and publications.

Requirements

• A University degree
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience
• Strong conversational Arabic is required
• Advanced large-scale collaborative programme management skills
• Fluent in English, including perfect ability to write content in clear, structured and compelling English
• Excellent report structuring and writing skills
• Excellent networking, communications, presentation, persuading and community building skills
• Understanding of corporate governance, accountability and reporting business practices in the Middle East.
• Business-focused research, data collection and analysis skills
• Self-driven, motivated and flexible
