Major accountabilities of Position
- Maintain consistently high quality studies by planning, coordinating, and managing resources, technical quality, and study progress.
- Lead a team of Engineers on multi-discipline feasibility and conceptual engineering studies
- Provide engineering consultancy services, both internally and to external clients
- Contribute to the development and management of the study timelines, resources, budget, risk and quality plans.
- Provide services to clients and ensure strategic alignment in the development of business solutions
- Design and facilitate client workshops and meetings
- Adhere to the global and regional practice strategies for the consultancy practice.
- Plan and coordinate resources necessary to complete project implementation and preparation of proposals
- Establishes study milestones and ensures accurate tracking and reporting of study metrics.
- Delivers the operational elements of the study plan.
- Promote the consultancy practice and Advisian brand.
- Evaluate customers business needs, thus contributing to strategic planning
- Identify business opportunities with existing clients
- Keep up to date with market/environment trends
- Identify innovative and unique strategies to support the growth and competitive advantage of the consultancy practice
- Perform thorough analysis to identify potential value creating opportunities, developing cohesive conclusions and presenting key findings at the executive level
- Provide specialised advice and guidance to clients
- Provide innovative methodologies and processes and 'look outside the square'
- Participate, and represent Advisian, in relevant industry/discipline conferences and conventions.

Requirements

Knowledge/Experience/Competencies Required
- Excellent people management skills such as leadership, team, interpersonal, coaching, mentoring and supervisory skills. Must be able to build, motivate, develop and manage an effective team.

Job Specific Knowledge:
- Expert technical and practical skills in upstream, midstream and downstream O&G.
- An excellent knowledge of the fundamental principles, theories, concepts, processes and procedures in upstream, midstream and downstream O&G, the basic requirements of related disciplines or fields.
- Experience in producing process design calculations, equipment sizing, P&IDs, PFDs, etc.;
- Concept identification, review, evaluation and selection;
- Develop cost and schedule estimates

Industry Specific Experience:
- upstream, midstream and downstream O&G

Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
- Bachelor of Engineering- Chemical
- 15 years with a minimum of 3 years of experience in consulting, engagement/project management and/or business and resource management.
