Job description / Role
The SME will be responsible for the reform and modernization of Customs Administrations through the implementation of business systems that merge the use of information Technology, Information Management, Organizational Structures and Business processes to ensure that Customs professionals are able to deliver effective and accountable services.
Project delivery will involve leading the gap analysis (as is to be) specific to each country and aligning it with their vision of future operating model using Dubai exemplary Customs experience as a baseline and adapted to meet the needs of the local environment and legislation The approach to transformation should consider the enabling of our CMS Product RIISE as a core component to provide transformation thru technology.
The role will also require the implementation of methodologies to be used internally and across all teams, generate usable templates and guide the Business Analysts in their tasks Finally, this role bears the face of the organization and represents not only the Company, but the Dubai image.
• Master Degree in International Customs Law and Administration
• Accredited by WCO
• 15 years of proven experience in the same position
• Experience in Customs processes, Organizational Change (Customs), Gap Analysis, Modernization Methodology, Trade Facilitation Protocols, IT centric transformation, Project Management and Risk Management
