Substation SCMS And Protection Engineer

Job description / Role

Scope of work and duties:
- Design and Analysis: Assist in the detailed engineering design and analysis of substation protection and control systems with OEM specialist
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and review technical reports, design, specifications, and construction documents related to substation P&C systems.
- Testing and Commissioning: Support the testing and commissioning of protection and control equipment in substations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, regulations and safety guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, including civil, electrical and mechanical engineers, to ensure project success.
- Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings to understand their needs and provide technical support.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during project execution.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality control reviews of projects deliverables to ensure the highest standards of engineering are maintained.

- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent - attested certificate from Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UAE
- Holder of ADDC Competency Certificate for SCMS and Protection HV (Testing of Backup protection relays or Testing of 33KV & 11KV Switchgears)
- Ready to join immediately.
