Job description / Role

IAT’s aim is to meet the industrial and technical challenges and requirements that will allow UAE national students to move on to higher education and pursue their careers in the higher technologies. The IAT, with its campuses in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Al Shahama, encompasses higher learning start-ups in aviation, logistics, nursing and vocational training.

The teaching medium and mode of communication across the organization is English.

The IAT is seeking is seeking Supervisor Administration (UAE National) to effectively coordinate, monitor, supervise, and improve the Applied Technology High School support services.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervise financial, procurement and HR operations and ensure all practices and procedures related to ATHS Finance, HR and Procurement comply with IAT standards
• Supervise the administration team ensuring tasks are completed to deadlines and to a high standard.
• Work with the Directorate Finance, HR and Procurement team to ensure a ‘joined up’ service is delivered to schools.
• Plan, implement and monitor projects including budgeting and outcomes. Regularly present reports on progress and highlight areas of concern or risk.
• Prepare and present statistical reports as needed.
• And any other function delegated by the Director of High School System from time to time.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Administration with significant work experience, in an education environment.
• Experience in areas related to the role, such as HR, procurement and finance.
• Experience of dealing with and resolving complex people issues
• Experience of managing small teams of staff and projects.
• Expertise in the use of ERP system or similar.
• Expertise in Budgeting and monitoring, Managing Processes, Organization, Process Improvement, Reporting Skills.
