Supplier Accounting Specialist

Job description / Role

Key Responsibilities:

- Record and manage supplier invoices in compliance with International Accounting Standards (IAS), tax regulations, and procurement policies.
- Process payments upon authorization and within budget limits.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset data for management and reporting.
- Reconcile accounts payable with balance sheets and manage accruals and deferrals.
- Handle foreign exchange differences on supplier balances.
- Ensure timely payment of invoices and maintain an efficient payable schedule.

- Degree in Economics with accounting experience.
- Extensive knowledge of IAS and ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).

Success Metrics:
- Quality and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Efficient management of credit aging, payment timing, and quarterly targets.
