Job description / Role
Main responsibilities:
• Software and hardware installations
• Trace and solve technical problems
• Create presentable user manuals
• Manage Support Tickets
• Perform User Training Sessions
• Learning about product updates and new technologies
• Manage Supplier Orders and Customer Delivery
• Field Visits
• Creating website designs
• Bring new and innovative ideas to improve the web presence and process
• meeting with clients to discuss requirements and/or project progress
• digital retouching and image editing
• Manage/create good looking newsletters and handle communication channels
• working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Create attractive product catalogs
Reporting to: Solutions Manager
Requirements
• University Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts or Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Language Fluency: English
• Current Location: Dubai, UAE
• Age Range: 22-35
Specialist knowledge:
• 1-2 years of web design experience
• Must have portfolio of work at time of interview for review
• Must have solid grasp of graphic and web design principles and good understanding of current web technologies including
• Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript.
• Proficient in graphic applications including Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
• Proficient in excel (Pivots, formulas, etc.)
• Ability to create visual mockups for multiple devices (smartphone, laptop, tablet, desktop)
• Very Good Communication skills
• Very Good Knowledge of Content management systems (WordPress, Joomla, Magento) and ecommerce
• SEO knowledge is a plus
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
• Strong commitment to customer service & journey (internal and external).
• Video Editing is a plus
