Job description / Role
Reporting to the Risk Director, the role of is responsible for handling the market risk and traded risk management of front office trading.
The role will be responsible for monitoring and identifying all market risks, whilst engaging a number of risk techniques in order to quantify and mitigate these risks.
Requirements
- Come from a trading background but has moved into risk.
- 5 years of trading experience with at least 3 years of risk experience.
- Whilst trading they must have managed trading books, have a solid understanding of markets, market dynamics, products - (FX, Futures, Options, Derivatives, CFDs, etc)
- Strong trading risk management background. - Stand firm on the the trading floor.
- Liaise and collaborate with the traders and trading managers
- Be able to implement the right type of controls across changing market conditions in periods of high volatility
- Role will involve monitoring and managing risk on a daily basis.
