System & Accruals Analyst - Commission Operations (FTC).1

The Purpose Of This Position Is To:
- Provide specialist IT/ Business based expertise in sales staff & partner daily, monthly, quarterly commission and incentive scheme/ plan review, design, testing, configuration/ development, successful rollout across appropriate systems and infrastructure including the daily and monthly Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) platform/ systems (Callidus TrueComp) while ensuring commission payout accuracy, integrity, timely delivery and historic reporting
- Provide specialist skills to Consumer/ Enterprise Business, Customer Operations, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Technology, Audit and Internal Finance teams regarding all ICM/ commission processes while creating and enhancing company performance
- Provide insight and value added analyses on commission scheme design, sales performance monitoring KPI's and financial performance/ reporting to Finance. The same is used by Consumer/ Enterprise Business and Finance to set targets and budgets and provide performance insights
- Plan, schedule, calculate and post financial commission accruals, reversals, credit and debit notes in relevant financial systems (Oracle ERP) while carrying out financial statement reconciliations (General Ledger, Trial Balance, Account Receivable Reports, etc.) to ensure all posted entries are accurate prior to monthly closing
- Manage commission distributor, SAC, accrual and VAT accounts financial closing

Requirements

Minimum Experience:
- 3-4 years' experience in handling IT based system configuration, SQL script writing, reporting/ analysis along with handling financial/ accounting statement reconciliations
- Excellent understanding of IT, Finance and Business environment, budgets, sales targets & forecasts, promotions, etc.
- Strategic thinker with numerical, statistical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead the development and if applicable execute the development of Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL and Oracle-based reporting and analysis tools
- In-depth knowledge of statistics, reporting systems and programming/query languages (SQL, VBA, Oracle etc.)
- Understanding of data analysis and data structures, database software and management
- Understanding of Sales Environment, both Consumer and Indirect
- Exposure to and involvement with commission for Staff and 3rd parties
- Has worked with commission in a sales environment previously
- Experience from working within a retail and/or distribution environment a plus
- Hands-on experience from working with Oracle or other enterprise ERP solution a plus

Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration & Information Technology, Computer Sciences/ Engineering
- Finance majors including accounting courses, certifications will be a plus
