Job description / Role

• Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
• Maintain Active Directory – user accounts, workstation accounts, groups, group policy, WSUS (Windows Update), Backup Exec
• Maintain and monitor users, network and system security.
• Maintain system efficiency and troubleshoot problems.
• Make recommendations for future upgrades.
• Manage and Monitor VMware vCenter 6 infrastructure including vSphere replication, P2V, V2V and migrations.
• Manage and configure the Microsoft Azure VM’s, Backup, storage and Recovery Service.
• Administer the Office 365 users, mailbox and domains
• Manage and monitor the backup of database and files with Azure site Recovery service and SQLbackupmaster application.
• Manage and configure the site wide VPN connections between sites.
• Manage and monitor IBM and other vendors SAN Storage systems
• Evaluate and modify system's performance.
• Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.
• Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
• Design and deploy networks.
• Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.
• Maintain and or deploy network servers such as file servers, Print Server, intrusion detection systems.
• Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, software deployment, security updates and patches.
• Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Maintain SQL Server,
• Maintain logs related to network functions as well as maintenance and repair records.
• Automates routine procedures. Maintains servers, creates monitoring reports and logs, and ensures functionality of links.
• Administer web servers for smooth operations and business continuity
• Maintain hardware inventory
• Windows licensing
• Research new technology, and implement it or recommend its implementation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 4-7 years of experience with at least 4 years of experience managing a large Microsoft Windows server environment; Strong experience with Windows 2008 R2.
• Experience with Windows 2012/2016 a plus and experience with TCP/IP networking and firewall administration.
• Solid knowledge and strong experience with TCP/IP networking
• Solid Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (Windows Server /2008/2012/2016)
• Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, IIS and DHCP
• Solid knowledge and experience with firewalls,
• Cloud management Microsoft Azure and Office 365 is a plus
• certification like MCSE, MCSA, CCNP is an advantage
• Working knowledge and experience with VMware virtual infrastructure.
