Job description / Role
- Responsible for operational activities in the Risk and Control team required to support the Bank in critical business continuity planning, disaster recovery testing and other governance related tasks.
- Support and coordination for the periodic BCP tests
- Support and coordination for periodic DR testing on all applications and systems supported by Technology Services as per agreed schedule
- Conduct periodic analysis of the existing business continuity and DR infrastructure / processes to identify areas for improvement
- Tracking and support for other IT governance and/or Risk management processes
- Undertake similar or other operational tasks as directed by Management
Requirements
- 3 years experience in a similar role in IT.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Working knowledge and experience of banking operations and systems.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge and ability to apply risk management and control techniques.
- Good interpersonal skills
- A university degree in Information Systems or similar qualification is preferred
- ITIL v3 Foundation Certified is preferred
