System Engineer - Enterprise Service management

The team provides and supports the systems that bring the business together. that means maintaining all it from the most basic desktop support to the most complex flight information systems. they're game changers for the industry by bringing us smart developments and advanced processes which revolutionise what we do.

Job Purpose

The role is responsible to manage, operate and optimize the enterprise service management systems and activities across Business Technology group for all BT Services (Networks, Data center, Telephony, Application, FIDS , hardware and software ..etc. ) in both Airports DXB and DWC. The Job Holder will administrate and support the enterprise service management system like (Service Now, SPLUNK, HPE Enterprise tools, SCCM , Nextthink .. etc ) .

The job holder will be responsible to develop, implement and integrate the enterprise service and operation Management systems for all BT Services (Networks, Data Centre, Servers, applications , Radios , FIDS , Telephony , Service Desk ..etc ) in compliance with Business Technology strategy to support the operational needs and internal and external stakeholders . Consolidate existing service management systems and ensure the availability of technology services using the standards procedures.

The job holder will be responsible to manage the entire lifecycle of the Enterprise Service Management System , implement the disaster recovery and business continuity solution at required time with focus on increasing the rate of first time fix and 24X7 Service monitoring. Develop and generate operation reports and dashboards to BT management.

Requirements

- Degree Level or Minimum Bachelor's Degree Holder in Computer Science or Computer Engineering field or equivalent field.
- ITIL V3 and ISO2000 Service Operation Qualification are required.
- ISO2000 and COBIT Qualification is preferable.
- Certificate in ServiceNow and HPE Service management tools is preferable.
- Certificate in Networks, data center and application management tools is Preferable
- PMBOK, PMP Qualification is preferable

Experience
The Job holder should have 3 to 5 years' experience of managing and administrating Enterprise Service Management Systems in process driven, customer centric industries. They should be experienced in implementing Service and operation Management processes and tools in the Enterprise, leveraging various service management technologies in order manage the BT infrastructure and application environment and to provide a clear and effective information.

- They should have strong experience and understanding in:
- Implementation of IT Service Management process
- Implementation IT Service Management tools in Enterprise.
- Service Now Service management and operation management modules.
- HPE Service management and operation tools NNM, NA, OMi, OBR, SiteScope, ArcSite, CO, SOM .
- Network Connectivity (LAN / WAN) Win2000 Server, Active Directory DHCP, DNS and other Microsoft BackOffice products.
- Hardware and software repairing (Desktops, Laptops, Telephony, Tetra Radio, FIDS ..etc )

Knowledge

- The job holder should be able to understands and uses appropriate methods, tools and applications for service management. Demonstrates a rational and organized approach to work. Identifies and negotiates own development opportunities. Has sufficient communication skills for effective dialogue with customers, suppliers and partners. Able to plan, schedule and monitor own work within short time horizons
- Knowledge of the Aviation industry and aviation solution is preferable but not mandatory
- Operating knowledge of ITIL V3 and ISO 20000 is Desirable
- Knowledge in customer relationship
- Knowledge of the existing technology services and current schemes at Dubai Airports, or similar airports/organizations is Desirable.
