Systems Analyst - Navision

Job description / Role

On behalf of our client who is a well established business group with interests in Retail, Shopping Malls, Wellness and FMCG, we are looking for experienced Systems Analyst in the designation of Deputy Manager- Applications.

Systems Analyst role is to provide a single point of contact for end users to receive Level 2 support and maintenance within the organization's Software Applications (in person, by telephone, or via remote access) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required. This includes installing, diagnosing, reconfiguring , maintaining, and upgrading all running software applications stack and related equipment, to ensure optimal performance.

• Responsible for end-to-end implementation, up gradation and support of Navision and LS Retail
• Comprehensive Project management experience in retail organization desired
• Help internal Application team in Support /Develop / Modify the Forms, Fields, Data Ports, Reports, Menu Suite, and Customization part using C/AL (NAV 2009/2013/2015/2016) and MS SQL 2005 onwards.
• Provide support for Navision and LS Retail
• Provide support for Navision payroll
• New functionality requirement study
• Provide user training for new and existing functionality
• Setup LS Retail POS environment
• Create and update user manuals as and when required
• Configure and administer users roles and permissions (Navision)
• Report creation / deletion / modification
• Configure and administer LS Retail offers and promotions
• Document functionality requirement and coordinate with partner for development
• Functionality testing and deployment
• Investigate reconciliation issues
• Navision object management
• Train & Support end user on BI applications (Qlik View & Sense)
• Make sure all support incident are recorded in the Helpdesk system and updated accurately online , Secondly ensure pending work are carried out on a Time bound procedure.
• Ensure that your password as well as any of the systems passwords are not given to anyone else.
• Ensure that un-authorized staffs are not provided access inside the Data Centers.
• Ensure that the Company’s confidential data / information is not provided to any un-authorized staff unless email or written approval is there from HOD/CEO.
• Ensure that none of the computer hardware, software or any data/ information is taken out of the Company at any time without the written permission of the H.O.D.
• Carry out any other job/s entrusted to you by your supervisor from time to time"

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a minimum experience of 10 years including 5 years in the GCC region and good knowledge of MS Navision and Ls Retail version 2013 or higher.

Since this is a business support role, the candidate needs to be flexible in terms of working hours and based on the necessity they may have to work late hours or come in on weekends.

A valid UAE driving license is required for this position as job entails onsite support for the retail stores/warehouses as and when required.
