Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a petrochemical business in the UAE. Our client is looking to hire a Systems Design Engineer. You will provide design and drafting support in electrical and instrumentation for implementing engineering projects.
Requirements
As a Systems Design Engineer, you will plan assignments for work scope/CAF received from project engineers and analyse drafting requirements as well as verify design proposals, gather design data and information. You will prepare design study and proposal in line with the standards and specifications. In addition, you will produce detailed project design drawings and bills of material (BOM) and participate in offshore dimension checks to ensure design accuracy. You will also be required to participate in project feasibility studies/conceptual design.
The successful candidate should have a Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline however, college education with 10 years of relevant design/drafting in Oil and Gas would be considered. You should have working knowledge of all industry standards and codes. It is essential that you are fluent in English in both verbal and written communication.
