Job Description
• Managing Linux operating systems in a productive environment, HPC computing clusters.
• HPC User Support (User Requests and Application Support). The selected Candidate will be involved in training programs for users in both HPC and Linux environments.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification
• Bachelor or Master's degree in either of these majors, Computer Science, telecommunication or bioinformatics

Preferred Qualification
• Master's degree in either of these majors, Computer Science, telecommunication or bioinformatics

Expected Skills/Rank/Experience
• Experience in HPC cluster and installing genomic applications.
• Knowledge of UNIX and LINUX operating systems, storage environments and technologies, file systems, and network protocols.
• Experience in monitoring and backup tools.
• Data backup and maintenance.
• Familiarity with UNIX and LINUX shell scripting.
• High-performance interconnects, preferably Mellanox.
• Experience in cluster management software, preferably Bright Computing.
• Experience in workload management software such as PBS/Slurm. MPI libraries.
• Understanding of backup procedures and storage management.
• Knowledge in database administration is a plus.
