Systems Programmer
Salary: bBased on Experience
Location: Dubai
Our Client has been in operation for more than 25 years in the UAE distributing foods and general merchandise to retailers across the GCC and Middle East.

As an ongoing expansion and service delivery excellence, we are seeking a highly talented and experienced Systems Programmer
The Key role is to prepare computers by installing and modifying system software.
Responsibilities
- Prepare system software installation by studying software capabilities and operations, including task scheduling, memory management, file system, and input and output requirements.
- Install system software by loading software into computer.
- Detect work stoppage or errors by conducting tests; monitoring output
- Correct work stoppages or errors by entering code changes.
- Optimize system efficiency by analyzing performance indicators; changing software.
- Maintain historical records by documenting system software changes and revisions.
- Prepare reference for users by writing operating instructions.
- Maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- Control access to system by monitoring program usage.
- Ensure operation of equipment by following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Requirements
- BS in computer science or related field.
- Well experience in handling Warehouse system management.
- 5-6 years experience in the U.A.E, managing Web development / Programming / Database
- Proven working experience in web programming, networking and database management.
- Excellent programming skills and in depth knowledge of SQL.
- Hands on experience in ERP / WMS implementation.
- Accounting knowledge is a plus
- Adequate knowledge of Relational Database Systems, Object Oriented Programming and Web Application Development.
- Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
