Job Description: Tableau Data Analyst - 12mths contract (Renewable)

Introduction:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tableau Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in enabling stakeholders to make informed business decisions by leveraging data insights. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, and either Tableau Server or Tableau Online. You will be responsible for connecting to data sources, performing data transformations, and creating actionable visualizations to address key business questions.

Key Responsibilities:

Connect to and Transform Data:
- Connect to a variety of data sources and prepare data for analysis.
- Utilize Tableau Prep for data transformation tasks.
- Customize fields to suit specific business needs and enhance data quality.

Explore and Analyze Data:
- Develop and implement calculated fields to provide deeper insights.
- Utilize quick and custom table calculations to analyze data effectively.
- Apply and manage filters and parameters to facilitate interactive data exploration.
- Structure and map data geographically to support business insights.
- Summarize, model, and customize data using Tableau's Analytics features.

Create Content:
- Design and create informative charts that communicate key findings.
- Develop comprehensive dashboards and stories to visualize data insights.
- Add interactivity to dashboards to improve user engagement and usability.
- Ensure dashboards are formatted for clarity and impact.

Publish and Manage Content:
- Publish Tableau content to Tableau Server or Tableau Online.
- Schedule data updates to keep content current and relevant.
- Manage published workbooks and ensure they are accurately maintained.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. Advanced certifications in Tableau are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data analyst role with a focus on Tableau.

Skills:
- Expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, and Tableau Server or Tableau Online.
- Strong understanding of data connectivity, preparation, and transformation techniques.
- Proficient in creating complex calculations, filters, and parameters.
- Ability to create visually appealing and interactive dashboards.
- Experience in publishing and managing Tableau content on server or online platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey data insights to stakeholders.

Preferred Attributes:
- Experience with additional BI tools or data visualization software.
- Knowledge of SQL and database management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Budget : AED 25k Negotiable
