Tactical Sourcing Leader - Oil & Gas Project Services

The Tactical Sourcing Leader supports the Sourcing Cell and the GM sourcing teams of the MENA in creating / updating catalogues, BPN and buying guides and on boarding / de-activating suppliers.

Sourcing Support Specialist delivers tasks under the responsibility of the Sourcing Cell Manager / Leader.

Client Details

My client are a Global Oil & Gas Services provider and they are looking for an expert O&G project buyer to be part of their global sourcing hub in Dubai.

Description

The Tactical Sourcing Leader will be based in the Dubai Sourcing Hub and:

* Is assigned to sourcing support project tasks by the Sourcing Cell Manager.
* Provide support to sourcing cells and GM sourcing teams on catalogues, BPN, buying guides and supplier on boarding-and de-activation
* Receives from sourcing documents to create the cup files in coordination with suppliers for a full sourcing project (coming from Sourcing Cells or GM) or a re-negotiation (coming from the Sourcing Cell)
* Prepares and reviews the cup files with the appropriate Sourcing Cell resources
* Has the cup file approved by the request
* Creates tickets to have the cup file uploaded in ProcureCat
* Follows up the catalogue upload with GPS
* Receives from sourcing documents to create BPN for a full sourcing project (coming from Sourcing Cells or GM) or a re-negotiation (coming from the Sourcing Cell)
* Create BPN and follow up with SMEs to BPN approval and upload in the system
* Receives from sourcing documents to update buying guides for a full sourcing project (coming from Sourcing Cells or GM) or a re-negotiation (coming from the Sourcing Cell)
* Creates tickets to have the cup file uploaded in ProcureCat
* Follows up the buying guide update with GPS
* Informs the requestor that the catalogue, BPN, buying guide are properly created / updated in the system and the supplier properly on-boarded / de-activated
* Periodically reviews pro-actively the catalogues about to expire to suggest renegotiation or update to the Sourcing Cell manager
* Periodically reviews pro-actively the buying guide quality and suggests area of improvement to the Sourcing Cell manager
* Contributes to deliver the expected outcome within the planned time frame, and according to processes.
* Identifies and proposes to the Sourcing Cell Manager opportunities for continuous improvement and client service attitude development.
* Complies with all compliance and local procedures applicable to the job function.
* Employee may be assigned other duties in addition to, or in lieu of those described above, according to the needs of the location or Company

Job Offer

The salary on offer for this position is :

* 20,000 AED per month

Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

* 3-5 years experience in Oil & Gas project procurement
* Experience sourcing equipments & services for drilling prjoects
* Must have global sourcing experience
* Ideally based in the UAE
* Ideally have local sourcing experience
