Talent Acquisition Director - UAE

EMR is an emerging markets foremost provider of recruitment solutions specialised in most industrial segments and key functions. We are currently working with a leading multinational looking for a Talent Acquisition Director to be based in UAE.

Our client is in need of a Talent Acquisition Director be part of a growing team of HR professionals in the UAE. The candidate will set the vision, strategy and goals for talent acquisition focusing on Middle East, Africa, Turkey and India. This position will lead, manage and develop the recruitment team across multiple locations driving a high level of performance against the ambitious hiring plans.

Responsibilities would include:
- Building a strategy around recruitment as well as the execution of best practices for benchmarking, talent assessment and interviewing effectiveness in an effort to meet or exceed hiring goals
- Defining and developing recruitment metrics (qualitative and quantitative) in collaboration with the leadership team
- Partnering closely with the leadership team to develop, optimise and drive an efficient, consistent recruitment process from talent attraction and candidate identification to on-site assessment, offer proposal and negotiations
- Developing strong partnerships with the senior stakeholder community whilst working in a collaborative manner to achieve business objectives
- Identifying future talent needs collaborating with the recruitment team to develop talent pools and/or social engagements
- Developing and implementing a cohesive day-to-day recruitment operation and related programs across all functional areas
- Acting as an internal consultant to provide consultative perspective on staffing needs and issuing and advising on approaches
- Providing fair and empowering robust and efficient framework to lead to the right choice in selecting the best talent
- Accountable to grow and build a world class global talent acquisition team
- Invoking the cultural aspects and core values as the founding pillars of employer brand with consistency, standardisation and reinforcement
- Driving innovation and harnessing digital technologies and social media to attract the best talent

Requirements

- Master’s degree in HR or similar discipline (additional certifications preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years’ managerial experience with the last 5 years in a senior talent acquisition role
