The Role:

The Director, Talent Acquisition is responsible for all of DarkMatter's hiring activities across the UAE, Canada and Finland. You will be a key member of our HR Leadership team and will provide strategic direction to an organization of approximately 10 recruiting professionals. As the successful candidate, you will be a progressive and innovative thinker with experience in strategic planning and global talent markets and take a disciplined approach to building an inclusive and effective talent acquisition team that delivers high-quality candidates with a world-class candidate experience. You will be metrics-driven and able to build a culture of accountability with a strong sense of measurable performance outcomes. Lastly, you can establish strong partnerships with business leaders and cross-functional HR teams to provide integrated, seamless, and high-quality staffing services to DarkMatter and Business leaders.

In this role, you will:

- Provide strong leadership and support to the TA team who are based in UAE
- Build talent pipeline for current and future job openings across DarkMatter Group
- Lead all Sourcing Strategies across DarkMatter Group
- Provide thought leadership in staffing management, workforce, organization and location planning, and strategic talent planning
- Assess and/or develop relevant staffing and recruiting tools, assessment center, processes, technology and methodologies that enable us to quickly find and hire top talent
- Identify, attract, develop, and retain exceptional recruiting talent and TA managers in a highly competitive marketplace
- Design, plan and execute employer branding activates
- Build Employer Value Proposition
- Ability to leverage our employer brand to develop leading-edge social media strategies on a variety of platforms and tools
- Develop and implement methodologies and processes to ensure a world-class candidate and hiring manager experience
- Manage our external partnerships with universities and HR software vendors
- Participate in and host recruitment events to drive awareness of our company
- Establish a culture of accountability and performance standards
- Build an environment for coaching and mentoring
- Act as a role model for the DarkMatter culture and values
- Build strong partnerships with different stakeholder in HR, Finance, and DarkMatter leaders to develop and execute against workforce plans, budgets, and hiring forecasts in existing and emerging markets in order to deliver the right talent when and where it's needed.
- Ensure the new HR operating model has been implemented in your respective function and is running smoothly
- Prepare and review our annual recruitment budget
- Create and present KPI reports - Measure key recruitment metrics, like source of hire and time-to-hire
- Review employment applications and background check reports
- Perform candidate and employee satisfaction evaluations and workshops
- Act as a role model for the DarkMatter Group culture and values

Requirements

Required Skills:

- You have demonstrated success in one or more core areas of staffing functional leadership, ideally in-house Talent Acquisition.
- Solid understanding of sourcing techniques and tools (e.g. social networks)
- You have expert knowledge of staffing activities, including candidate sourcing, recruitment strategy design and implementation, screening and assessment in a high-growth, competitive and progressive environment.
- You have the ability to negotiate, influence change, and provide strategic leadership within a matrix structure.
- You possess great analytical skills and ability to work well with tools, metrics, and data.
- You are a quick-study with an ability to understand complex problems and work well with a variety of leaders and executives from culturally diverse backgrounds.
- You have superior written and verbal communication skills with strong executive presence and presentation skills
- You to manage and coach with high integrity, discretion, and ethical standards
- You to have exceptional interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
- You to be an independent thinker with a flexible, hands-on, supportive management style.
