Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- To assist in the smooth and efficient running of the Talent & Culture Department, ensuring that all the policies and procedures outlined in the Departmental Operations Manual are strictly adhered to.
- To ensure that all in-house rules and regulations are communicated to Heartists and implemented.
- To monitor the cleanliness and upkeep of the Heartist restaurant and locker areas.
- To assist with the co-ordination and implementation of all Heartist communications and committees.
- To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the hotel's Heartist Rules and Regulations.
- To monitor Heartist wearing the correct uniform and adhering to the appearance standards of the hotel at all times.
- To have knowledge of the UAE labor law.
- To assist in monitoring of expatriate Heartists passports, visas and other legal documentations.
- To maintain Heartist activities library, photos and photo albums.
- To maintain the Heartist Notice board and update regularly.
- To be responsible for the security and upkeep of Heartist files.
- To achieve maximum productivity through a well-organized and efficient running of the department.
- To assist in distributing and controlling locker locks and name tag.
- To be responsible on the general orientation of new joiners.
- To Participates on various committees to provide HR support and to monitor activities and completion of goals.
- To Schedules participants into training sessions.
- To Tracks participants and training records.
- To Enters training records into database and maintains it.
- To Tracks the implementation of the employee performance development plans (PDPs).
- Assist the Learning & Development Manager to conduct a minimum of one training needs analysis per year identifying all the training required for the Hotel.
- Assist the Manager to design, implement and evaluate training and development programs as identified by Training Needs Analysis.

Requirements

- Proper administration of the Training Department.
- Prepare materials prior start of any Training.
- Compile all monthly reports and submit to Learning & Development Manager.
- Set up the training room well in advance before the training starts.
- To coordinate and monitor the following training programs as per the instruction of the Learning & Development Manager.
- Ensure facilities, equipment and materials are well maintained and the training room is always well maintained.
- Follow-up with departmental trainer to collect their monthly departmental training programs and attendance.
- Conduct regular audit, evaluate and provide constructive feedback to Departmental Trainers on their performance.
- Update Training Record system for each Heartist.
- Compile and monitor the Trainee Programs.
- Maintain close contacts with local colleges, hotel schools and universities.
- Keeps employee records up-to-date by processing Heartist status changes in a timely manner.
- Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Learning & Development Manager
