Employment: Full Time

Leading Multinational client are actively seeking an experienced Training/Talent Manager to join their existing best practice HR function for the region.

Responsible for improving the productivity of the organization’s employees.  This position assesses development needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees.  This position actively searches, creatively designs, implements, and facilitates effective methods to educate, enhance performance, and recognize performance.  The Talent Development Manager also participates actively in the annual talent planning and succession planning processes.

• Partners with senior management, supervisors, and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies.
• Proposes training and development programs and objectives.
• Contributes to the creation of global training and development programs.
• Obtains and/or develops effective training materials using a variety of media.
• Formulates teaching outlines and determines instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
• Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
• Trains and coaches managers, supervisors, and others involved in employee development efforts.
• Tests trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training.
• Plans, organizes, facilitates, and orders supplies for employee development and training events.
• Develops and maintains organizational communications to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.
• Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
• Modifies existing training and development programs as needed.
• Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.
• Maintains trainee personnel records.
• Participates in the annual talent planning and succession planning process, facilitate 9-box reviews and calibration sessions
• Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
• Works effectively as a virtual team member with global responsibilities.
• Collaborates effectively with senior management leadership teams.

Requirements

• University Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Training/L&D and Training Delivery
• Minimum of 3 years in a training/L&D leadership role in the UAE
• Excellent written, oral and positive influential interpersonal skills required in English
• Previous senior experience in a large multinational environment
• Ability to effectively demonstrate capabilities as a Leadership Coach, Performance Consultant and Talent Manager
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate business strategy into organization development plans
• Results driven and "hands-on" approach
• Experience working with a global HRIS system (Oracle)
• Strong knowledge of global HR Processes and Policies
• 9 box succession planning methodolgy and Train the Trainer
• Previous international experience gained in Europe/UK/USA is preferred
