Job description / Role
Supporting all Consultants with their career trajectories and overall development, the role of Talent Management Specialist will act as the first point of contact for all their queries during their career journey within this global management consultancy. Working within the career’s division of the company you will organise all development meetings, prepare the promotional and bonus processes and ensure the Consultants are interacting with the most suitable mentor within the organisation to guide them through their growth plan.
The role will have some autonomy to select the most suitable mentor and Consultants marked for fast-track growth and development, however it is critical that you gain an exacting understanding of the Consultant’s expectations and the areas of expertise they wish to specialize in for the future. It is essential that you have a passion for people and talent and are able to bring to the fore a solutions-based thought process to navigate the Consultants through their chosen career path.
Requirements
A unique role for an engaging and motivated individual, the position of Talent Management Specialist will interact with all levels of seniority and actively and continuously follow up regularly with each Consultant via formal face to face meetings, coffee chats and on-line interactions. Each step of the way should be tracked and monitored to provide reports to the senior team with overall and individual progress.
Excellent communication and interaction skills, coupled with a relevant degree and 3-5 years hands on experience within career development will ensure you are successful in your application. It is also expected that you have a great deal of emotional intelligence and possess a calm and empathic demeanor to manage expectations effectively, listen attentively and move forwards with a plan of action. Desirable applicants will also be from a similar professional services environment.
