Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a consultancy firm based in Abu Dhabi, who specialise in providing tax services to a broad range of clients in the UAE. They are looking to hire an experienced and qualified tax agent to help manage their existing clients.
The Tax Consultant will be based in the Abu Dhabi office and will be required to travel for meetings with a portfolio of clients in the region to provide top-level tax services. This will include VAT consulting, tax accounting, VAT training etc.
You will be tasked with preparing and submitting VAT returns, researching tax laws, including the incoming Corporate Tax and providing tax advice to a book of clients. The existing portfolio of clients are mainly focused on the hotel and hospitality industry, but there is a wider scope of clients that you will work with.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, the applicant should have at least five years of work experience in a tax role, ideally from a consultancy firm. It is essential that applicants have passed their Tax Agency Exam and have obtained a valid TAAN.
Our client is also looking for a native Arabic speaker for this position. Due to this client-facing nature of the role, you will be required to travel and meet clients, so a valid driver’s license is required, as is your own car.
