Tax Lawyer (Senior Associate or Counsel Level)

A leading regional law firm is seeking a Tax Lawyer at a Senior Associate or Counsel level to join its Dubai office.

The role sits within an established tax practice advising regional and international clients across the GCC, with a particular focus on the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will work on a broad mix of advisory, transactional, and contentious tax matters and will be involved in complex, client-facing work.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Advising on Corporate Tax, Zakat, Withholding Taxes, and Indirect Taxes, including VAT, Customs Duties, Excise Tax, and RETT
2. Advising on Transfer Pricing, Economic Substance Requirements (ESR), and FATCA/CRS
3. Supporting clients on tax structuring and Tax Authority disclosures
4. Advising on M&A and complex transactions, including SPAs, real estate, and distribution agreements
5. Advising on supply chain structuring for customs, trade, and tax efficiency
6. Advising high-net-worth individuals on succession and tax planning
7. Handling VAT and Transfer Pricing disputes in Saudi Arabia

1. Senior Associate or Counsel-level tax lawyer
2. Private practice tax experience
3. Strong GCC exposure, with experience covering the UAE and/or Saudi Arabia
4. Solid experience advising on VAT and indirect taxes
5. Experience with corporate and transactional tax matters
6. Comfortable working directly with clients in a regional law firm environment
7. UAE-based candidates only

Salary:
AED 50,000 to 60,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
