JESS Arabian Ranches Primary School is seeking a Teaching Assistant (LSA) to start in January 2026.

The role will briefly include:

• Participating in planning, assessment, supporting students in their teaching and learning, evaluation and record keeping
• Helping students to learn effectively both in group sessions and individually to support learning
• Providing observational feedback to class teacher and/or year group leader
• Assisting class teachers in the development and delivery of provision
• To cover for class teachers in their absence, as required
• Attend relevant CPD
• Carrying out other duties relevant to the role, to include school trips

The successful applicants will:

• Hold as a minimum a high school diploma. A CACHE Level 3 qualification or equivalent would be desirable
• Have relevant and recent school-based experience within the classroom
• Have a good rapport with students from age of 4 to 11
• Have high expectations of students' attainment and behaviour
• Work effectively as part of a team
• Be comfortable taking direction from class teacher(s) and senior staff
• Uphold safeguarding and child protection
• Be keen, self-motivated and flexible
• Be enthusiastic and enjoy contact with children
• Encourage individual development and progress
