Technical Analyst - DevOps, Atlassian, Payments

One of the Middle East & Africa’s largest payment solutions companies are looking to add a Technical Analyst to their Business Transformation team to support business growth.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a DevOps environment, and will be responsible for the build and maintenance of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment automated pipelines, whilst supporting the Development team on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:
• Supporting all users of DevOps tools across the department
• Maintaining all DevOps tools including Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence
• Automating tasks and implementing user requirements into working features of DevOps tools
• Building and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines
• Planning the allocation/capacity of the DevOps tools
• Work closely with the Infrastructure team to provide all the requirements of the new/updated environments

Requirements

Experience:
• Experience on administration and customisation of Atlassian tools such as Bamboo, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence
• Knowledge on different applications, web administration, Apache, REST API’s
• Application and environment management experience
• Knowledge on version control tools such as GIT, and branching strategies
• Understanding of Oracle SQL databases
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Powershell, Perl, SQL, PL/SQL
• Knowledge of artefact repositories such as Nexus and code quality inspection software SonarQube would be a big plus
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Systems or related field
