Technical Architect

Job description / Role

Our client, a leading Architectural Engineering consultancy requires a Technical Architect for their Dubai office.

The ideal candidate is technically focused architect with a keen eye for detail, a strong design focused sensibility, good technical knowledge and ability oversee projects through to completion.

• Design focus and ability to deliver design visions
• Comprehensive knowledge of coordinating systems in large and complex developer projects
• Resolve complex technical and design issues
• Perform in-house QA/QC of construction documents
• Project and team leader with ability to execute and deliver projects at all stages of design
• Passionate, highly creative and talented in design
• Developing and maintaining clear and effective communication between architects and consultants
• Able to perform in robust multi?disciplinary projects
• Construction Administration including the processing of submittals, RFIs, substitution requests, etc. during construction
• Prepare observation reports during construction
• Assist in project close-out efforts including punch lists
• Proficiency in design related software including 2DCAD/3D and Adobe Suite
• Able to keep project schedules, quality, timelines and milestones
• Strong presentation, communication and explicatory skills

Requirements

• At least 5 years UAE Experience
• Architectural Degree
• Strong design focus
• Fluency in English including verbal and written a must
• Organized, efficient, proactive and diligent with attention to detail, approachable and conducive to the office environment
