As the Technical Asset & Configuration Manager, you will play a central role within a new ServiceNow Centre of Excellence for the client. You will leverage your proven experience in the field to ensure that the platform is implemented and maintained so that all master data remains accurate and up to date

Description
* Accountable for communicating, promoting and raising awareness of Asset and Configuration Management services
* Support critical components essential for the continuous improvement of Asset and Configuration Management services, leveraging industry-based knowledge of people, processes and technology
* Prepare data uploads to ensure accurate capture of all changes within the ServiceNow platform
* Provide IT asset information and support to various departments within the organisation as required
* Ensure continuous enrichment of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) through ongoing discovery and integrations
* Analyse CMDB data to identify anomalies and errors, driving process improvements and collaborating with configuration item (CI) owners to define remediation plans
* Define CMDB data quality reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness, while maintaining the CMDB Data Model
* Assume overall accountability for the quality, integrity, and security of Asset and Configuration Management repositories

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree preferably in Information Technology, with relevant and up to date ServiceNow certifications
* Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in IT Asset & Configuration Management with at least 3 years' experience in ServiceNow, including reporting and analytics on the platform
* Practical experience with implementing and managing the Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
* Experience with IT Operations Management (ITOM) and related products
* Excellent communication skills with a high attention to detail
