About the Role:
Our client, one of the fastest-growing proprietary trading firms in the world, is seeking a Business Analyst (Next-Gen Tools) to help build the trading infrastructure of tomorrow. This firm funds retail traders through an evaluation-to-funded model and is now developing next-generation tools that power the full trader lifecycle—simple, reliable, and data-driven.

In this pivotal role, you’ll bridge business and engineering by turning complex trading workflows into actionable specifications and testable solutions that enable the next generation of funded traders globally.

Key Responsibilities

*Lead discovery sessions and produce concise Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
*Map the entire prop-funded trading lifecycle including evaluation purchase, account setup, risk rules, pass/fail logic, funding, scaling, payouts, and support workflows.
*Define data models, API contracts, and event structures across payment systems, KYC/AML, trading platforms (MT4/MT5/cTrader), and internal tools.
*Translate complex risk and compliance controls (drawdown, daily loss, multi-accounting, copy trading) into clear system checks and decision flows.
*Collaborate with engineering and product teams on backlog prioritisation, testing, and requirements traceability.
*Develop and execute UAT, smoke, and regression test cases; log and verify defects with supporting evidence.
*Maintain robust process documentation, flowcharts, and system architecture references using Confluence, Jira, and diagramming tools.

*Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Business Analyst within trading, fintech, or complex platform environments.
*Hands-on understanding of proprietary trading lifecycle – from evaluation purchase to funding, scaling, and payouts.
*Strong knowledge of Forex markets: leverage, margin, order types, spreads, and trading sessions.
*Advanced proficiency with Atlassian Suite (Confluence, Jira) and diagramming tools such as Lucidchart, Miro, or draw.io.
*Experience creating ERDs, BPMN workflows, and light wireframes (Figma).
*Strong documentation, analytical, and cross-functional communication skills.

Salary:
AED 4,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
