Job description / Role
Excellent opportunity for a Technical & Commercial Manager to work with a leading Global Energy company based in Dubai.
Reporting to the Chief Technical officer you will be responsible for all technical & commerical issues on gas and steam turbines.
Duties include:
- Manage the Contracts for various plants
- Commercial negotaions including repair and upgrade
- Create the maintenance programs for turbines
- Challenge the manufacturer on repairs and the potential to upgrade
- Build relationships with third party vendors
- Attend conferences of relevant turbine technology
- Produce weekly and monthly reports with regards to contract management
Requirements
You will have excellent knowledge of gas and steam turbines and strong negotiation skills, you will also have an understudying of how combined cycle power plants operate.
Experience of managing various contracts at the same time.
You will be degree educated in mechanical or a relevant engineering discipline.
The position is based in Dubai but will include travel across the GCC.
