Technical Inspector - Bus

Job description / Role

We are looking for Technical Inspector with experience in Buses to monitor and follow up operation in bus stations services ensuring that the service is provided to the public in a safe and efficient manner.

KEY RESULTS:

• Monitor the behavior of bus driver Ensure that all drivers are neatly presented in uniform in the field and Upon receipt of the work and their ability to receive bus.
• Working 24/7 in all the inspection locations in the bus stations.
• Monitor air-conditioned bus shelters, lay byes and monitor behavior of passengers, penalize the violators according to the quality fines criteria.
• Periodically inspecting of air-conditioned bus shelters in the field and reporting the shelters without air condition or any other defect to the management.
• Inspection of all the activities related to bus stations.
• Participation in campaigns related to inspection on passengers and bus drivers monthly.
• Dealing with all kind cases reported from OCC which includes bus breakdowns, And emergency situations involving drivers and buses during operation and follow up with the concerned departments and report to directly to reporting manager.
• Monitor passenger complaints in the field, air-conditioned Bus stops, make reports, suggestions and recommendations to the management .
• Doing field checks on cards to collect tariffs (NOL) for passengers within the bus stations to ensure the air-conditioned bus shelter are well maintained and issuance of fines in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations.
• Monitoring the performance of Senior controllers and interface staff present in all bus depots
• Carry out legal action against violators in bus stations and participate in inspection campaigns
• Monitor Health and Safety and equipment related to it for all the users of bus stations, all strategic partners and all customers.
• Monitor and secure the assets of bus stations and to ensure that it is not used by unauthorized people, and penalize the offenders through issuing them with fine according to the rules and regulations and the fine list.
• Daily monitoring of investors and strategic partners to achieve assigned tasks according to the agreed contract.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities which are assigned to the position.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school
• 3 - 5 years of working experience
• Basic Computer-literate.
• Good listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
• Active member in work team r who excels at strengthening relationships with customers and
• colleagues.
• Fluent in Arabic / English reading, writing and speaking.
