Technical Manager

Job description / Role

Our client is looking to hire a technical manager to offer technical and business related support to customers and architects.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Give technical support to national and international projects
- Provide technical evaluation of applications for the companies entire product range, special constructions
- Negotiation and securing the necessary product tests, reports and certificates including the product permits and co-operation with the authorities
- Managing budget control and budget responsibility for getting needed certificates, licenses etc.
- Having an interface position between product development and quality management departments, as well as between sales management and production
- Ensuring that all the company’s products comply with the building regulations
- Developing the company’s products through test procedures
- Giving Monthly report to the Head of Sales Office
- Developing new forms and documentation working with Marketing
- Preparing and implementing training programs for installers and new sales employees to the company
- Regular data update and use of CRM-Systems

Requirements

- Technical degree, i.e. Architecture, construction management/engineering, or similar
- 3 or more years experience in development, optimization and sales-oriented consultancy in regard to technical products (construction materials/dry lining preferred)
- High technical competency
- Good skills in MS-Office
- High flexibility and willingness to travel
