Job description / Role
Our client are an industry leading construction contractor with a superb track record seeking a Technical Manager who will be responsible for the implementation and coordination of the technical side of a medium to large site project.
The candidate must be able to manage and coordinate the different technical subdivisions: structural, architectural and MEP. Able to manage a team of technical and administrative staff and specialists doing similar kind of work, reporting directly to the project manager. Coordinate the planning, scheduling and monitoring of construction activities. Prepare the method statements for the site activities in cooperation with the section head engineers.
Manage cost analysis and cost control of site activities. Maintain the quality of service and operational efficiency of team responsible of by ensuring that all procedures are followed. Manage the organization and planning of site team activities in order to determine the short-term priorities of the work area, and in order to maximize quality, efficiency and continuity.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should be able to take own initiative and pursue alternative solutions to issues.
Must be able to adapt flexibly to constantly changing company driven business priorities.
Must understand your own role and manage, motivate and coach your team members.
Assume responsibility, implement HSEQ procedures, and take ownership to report any deviations/problems to the Project Manager.
Must have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineer or as Architectural Engineer.
Must have a minimum 5 years of experience in Actual Work as Technical Manager in High-Rise Buildings/ Tower projects.
Should be experienced with MS Office related software.
No to be an expert specifically on projects – not less than 300 meters high.
