Job description / Role
The purpose of this role is to ensure that all Novo Cinemas equipment and locations operate 24hours, 365 days a year. Supporting the Operations Director in planning and implementing safety procedures and processes, you will manage and guide the Technical team, prepare the BOM of new project, create the scope of work, manage the NOC services that is provide to all NOVO cinemas in UAE. Coordinate with the Cinema Management team in performing work environment inspections. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of planning and controlling material movement, well versed in project and budget management. Managerial experience with the skills of administrating and controlling high quality standards in work; cost; staff management and meeting organizational expectations.
Reporting to : OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
• Organizing, planning and implementing strategy.
• Manage the existing operational need and do the planning for operational support.
• Coordinate with cinema operations with regards to scheduling, playlist and program’s that NOC creates every week for new movies.
• Ensure schedules and objectives are met- project timeline and equipment.
• Review/Analyze the Drawing then create the BOM for new/ existing projects (Projector Model, screen size, audio and 3D system).
• Prepare the necessary scope of work for each project and share it to Line Manager for review and approval. This needs to communicate to AV integrator after the approval of the Line Manager.
• Manage and understand the NOC services that we provide for each cinema location.
• Monitor operating costs, budgets and resources related to technical department.
• Create reports, analyze and interpret data.
• Manage the AV / NOC team and Audio Technician schedule for the SW upgrade, Audio Alignment Projector Maintenance Type A, B and C and all operational / marketing support.
Requirements
• 7-10 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Sound Engineering or relevant discipline from an accredited institution
• Language: Fluent in written and oral English, Arabic is an Advantage
• UAE resident
• Valid UAE Driving license and Car
• Well versed with MS-Office, Auto CAD
