Role Purpose

We are seeking an exceptional Technical Manager to join a large-scale project in Ras Al Khaimah for one of our prominent clients in real estate. The ideal Technical Manager has a strong background in high-rise and complex building projects. They possess exceptional technical management skills and will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of project design, construction, and delivery.

What This Job Involves

• Provide technical leadership and expertise throughout all project phases
• Review and approve technical designs, specifications, and drawings
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations
• Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement project execution strategies
• Oversee the technical aspects of multiple high-rise and complex building projects
• Manage technical risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Lead the technical design review process
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to resolve technical issues
• Implement value engineering initiatives
• Provide technical support during the construction phase
• Collaborate with construction teams to resolve complex technical challenges on-site
• Develop and implement quality control procedures
• Conduct technical audits and inspections
• Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders on technical matters
• Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations
• Ensure projects meet or exceed sustainability targets and environmental regulations

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline preferred
• Minimum 8 years of experience in technical management roles for high-rise or complex building projects
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, technically challenging projects
• In-depth understanding of structural systems, MEP systems, facades, and other technical aspects of high-rise construction
• Proficiency in relevant building codes and standards
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building certifications
• Proficiency in CAD software and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools
