TECHNICAL MANAGER
Technical Manager: AED 30,000–50,000 per month (Dubai)

Job Description
• We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to oversee the operational performance, safety, and compliance of our Anchor Handling Tug fleet.
• This role serves as a vital link between our clients and vessels, ensuring service excellence and operational efficiency.
• The Technical Manager will lead and guide vessel managers, fleet teams, and crew, while overseeing offshore operations and vessel management companies.
• The role includes coordination with distributed offshore staff to ensure smooth and consistent operations across our fleet.

Job Location:
• Dubai / Mumbai

Key Accountabilities:
• Prioritize safety above all, with the authority and responsibility to make critical decisions ensuring the constant safe operation of the fleet.
• Train, mentor, and develop the fleet and vessel leadership teams.
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Ensure all vessels pass third-party inspections (including OVID, OCDIMF,PSC etc.) with minimal observations.
• Maintain a proactive approach to compliance and quality assurance.
• Oversee the ship management company of the fleet and vessels with competent personnel.
• Ensure teams are adequately equipped and experienced to handle the demands of offshore operations.
• Approve annual Vessel Operating Budgets, ensuring they align with ship management expectations and timelines.
• Focus on cost control, budget management, and value optimization.
• Prepare detailed and accurate project/Repairs/Docking specification.
• To lead technical investigation team to determine the effective root cause of any technical breakdowns.
• To liaise with insurance companies in case of any technical claims and further follow -up.
• To negotiate with suppliers and service providers to optimise the OPEX in purchase costs and ensure technical capability.
• To prepare and plan purchase contracts in optimizing the vessel operations costs in long run.
• Use of modern tools and software’s in ensuring vessels safe and efficient operations.

• Holder of a Class One Chief Engineer Unlimited license.
• A minimum of 5 years of shore-based experience in a marine-related company, preferably as a Technical Superintendent or equivalent.
• Extensive experience with offshore vessels, specifically PSV/AHTS, is essential.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills with a proven track record of coaching and mentoring staff.

Salary:
AED 30,000 to 50,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
